Sumac-Spiced Grilled Salmon

Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, this Sumac-Spiced Grilled Salmon brings the bright, citrusy taste of the Mediterranean straight to your table. Infused with Eastanbul’s premium Sumac Spice, garlic, rosemary, and a splash of lemon, this dish is simple enough for a weeknight dinner yet elegant enough to serve at a dinner party.
Chef’s Tip: Pair this salmon with a side of Fattoush Salad or Bulgur Pilaf for a complete Mediterranean meal. 


Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each, skin on)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Eastanbul Sumac
  • ½ tsp Eastanbul Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 lemon, sliced

    Directions

    1. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, sumac, black pepper, and salt into a paste.
    2. Rub the marinade over both sides of the salmon fillets.
    3. Let rest for 10 minutes while preheating the grill pan.
    4. Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high.
    5. Place salmon skin-side down with rosemary sprigs and garlic alongside.
    6. Grill for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden and just cooked through.
    7. Transfer salmon to plates, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, and sprinkle with an extra pinch of Eastanbul Sumac for a citrusy finish.
