Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Bar

A luxurious no-bake dessert with a rich chocolate base and top, sandwiching a creamy pistachio, tahini, and kataifi filling. Topped with whole pistachios and golden decor, it’s a true bite of Dubai-inspired indulgence.
Chef’s Tip: Smooth tahini blends best and adds creamy balance to the nutty profile.

  1. Lightly toast shredded kataifi in a pan or oven at 175°C (350°F) for 5–7 minutes until golden and crisp. Let cool. 
  2. In a bowl, mix the toasted kataifi with pistachio cream, tahini, crushed pistachios, and sweetened condensed milk (if using). Set aside.
  3. Melt half of the chocolate (200g) with 1 tbsp butter or oil until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate into a parchment-lined square or rectangular pan to form the base layer.
  5. Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes until slightly set but still tacky.
  6. Spread the pistachio-tahini-kataifi mixture evenly over the chocolate base and press gently to flatten.
  7. Melt the remaining chocolate (200g) with 1 tbsp butter or oil until smooth and pour over the filling layer.
  8. Smooth the top and garnish with whole pistachios and edible gold flakes.
  9. Chill for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
  10. Slice into elegant bars or squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.
