This vibrant, savory-sweet dish is perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. The blend of tender chicken, aromatic spices, and the rich depth of pomegranate molasses makes this a staple in Turkish cuisine. It’s packed with flavor and easy to whip up in no time. Chef’s Tip: Marinating the chicken beforehand enhances the flavors even more!
Ingredients
Directions
- Cut the chicken into julienne strips or cubes. Wash the chicken and place it in a bowl.
- Add milk, tomato paste, cumin, black pepper, oregano, and salt to the chicken, and mix well. For best results, refrigerate and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken with the sauce to the pan, and cook until the chicken changes color and begins to brown.
- Add the sliced green peppers and diced tomatoes to the pan, and sauté until the vegetables soften.
- Drizzle the Eastanbul Pomegranate Molasses over the mixture and stir to combine. Let everything cook for another 5-10 minutes until well incorporated.
- Serve hot with rice or flatbread, and enjoy!
