Smoky Chili Con Carne

A hearty one-pot classic loaded with ground beef, beans, corn, and bold spices. This chili gets its signature kick from Eastanbul Aleppo Pepper Flakes and a rich depth from smoked paprika.
Chef’s Tip: Let the chili sit for 10–15 minutes off the heat before serving to enhance the flavors.

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper, sauté until softened.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Stir in garlic, tomato paste, paprika, Aleppo pepper, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes, beans, corn, and water or broth. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30–40 minutes.
  6. Stir occasionally. Add more water if too thick. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  7. Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with cilantro, lime wedges, or chili slices if desired.
